Organo Starter Rapid Rootes:
The next innovation in soiless culture: they maintain a perfect water-to-air ratio and they retain water very well. These bioactive plugs are made using a proprietary composting process using 96% fir tree bark and 4% naturally-made bonding agents. Organo starter gro plugs have a slightly acidic pH that your plants will love. Do not use with SM-90 as it will kill the beneficial bacteria. Plugs are about 1.5" high x 1" diameter.

Soil:
Mix # 1 is, by far, the most versatile formulation that expert growers choose for the production of a wide variety of crops. As a general use mix, it contains Canadian Sphagnum Peat moss, perlite, major and minor nutrients, gypsum, dolomitic lime, and a wetting agent.
Aggregate Mix # 4 is recommended where high air capacity and fast drainage are needed: during winter months, with highly water and salt sensitive crops, or where frequent leaching is required. Mix # 4 contains Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, perlite, major and minor nutrients, gypsum, dolomitic lime and a wetting agent.

Earthworm Castings:
Worm Castings, or excrement of worms, is the natural rich organic humus bursting with nutritional microbes and moisture holding capacity. This is time released into you soil. Castings contain 5 tines the available nitrogen, 7 times the available potash, and 1 ½ times more calcium than that found in the first few inches of good top soil. Castings are so rich that you do not have to use a large amount to help your plants or lawn. Only mix 10-30% for a container mix and you will see your potted plants come to life!
